He had been ill for four years. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. until services at 1 2pm: Sunday at Ford Chapel of Allore- Martenson Funeral Home, Rock- wood. The Rev. Robert Karacson, pas- BERT tor of Lake- HAYNES DAVIS pointe Community Church, Rockwood, will offici- ate. Following the service, members of Downriver Honor Guard will conduct military services, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bloomdale Cemetery, Trenton. Born Aug. 6, 1936, in River Rouge, he was the son of James Haynes and Alice (Lajiness) | Davis. He married Nina Jean | Burgett June 13, 1960. He worked for Ford Motor Co.’s River Rouge plant for 26% years, retiring in 1991. as a welder repairman. He served in the Army. He was a member of Rockwood Lodge 1157, Loyal Order of Moose; River Rouge local, United Auto Workers, and North American Hunting Club. He enjoyed hunting and fish- ing. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Glen (Lisa) of Rockwood and Tony (Heather) of Taylor; four daughters, DeEtta Hendricks and Constance Davis, both of Flat Rock, and Tina (Kevin) Ballard and Bobbi-Jo (Larry) Hanning, both of Rockwood; a brother, James of Flat-Rock, and nine grandchildren.
