ye Evening News, Fri., Nov. 7, 1997 DEATHS Sheldon Harold Diltz TEMPERANCE — Services have been set for Sheldon Harold Diltz, 95, of Temperance, who died Thursday in Lake Park Con- valescent Center, Sylvania, Ohio. Friends may call from 4 to 9 tonight in the Bedford Funeral Chapel, where services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Rod- ney K. Haselhuhn, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, will offi- ciate. Interment will be in the Bed- ford Memorial Cemetery. Born May 12, 1902, in Clark- ston, Ontario, Canada, he was the son of Charles and Martha (Case) Diltz. He married Leona Schmidt on June 21, 1925 in Monroe. She died Dec. 16, 1989. He was employed as a telegra- pher for the former Michigan Cen- tral Railroad for more than 50 years before retiring in 1967. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the Brother- hood of Railroad Telegraphers. Surviving are two sons, Charles and Dale, both of Temperance; a sister, Mrs. Helen Knight of St. Thomas, Canada; two grandchil- dren, and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. a
