————— ye Evening News, Sat., April 8, 1995 LL Earl L. Dishaw FLAT ROCK — Earl Lyle Dishaw, 73, of Flat Rock died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in his home. He had been ill since January. Friends may call at the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home from 12:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from noon to 9 p.m. Monday where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. He will lie in state in St. Roch’s Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until services at 10. The Rey. Frederick Misiolek will offi- ciate and burial will be at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery. Born May 21, 1921, in Calder- wood, he was the son of John and Maude (Smiley) Dishaw. He was married June 19, 1941, to Alice Lundwall in Wakefield. They made their home in Flat Rock in 1954. A veteran of World War II, he served in the Marine Corps from 1938 to 1945. He was a member of the Pearl Harbor Club, St. Roch’s Catholic Church and Local 118 of the Detroit Carpenters Union, which he served as a fore- man for 40 years. He worked in maintenance in Detroit’s Penob- scot Building until he retired in 1984. Surviving are his wife; four sons, Earl, Thomas and Larry, of Flat Rock, and Michael of May- bee; two daughters, Mrs. Tim (Doris) Liedel and Sharon Spencer, poth of Flat Rock; 17 grandchildren, and 4 great-grand- children. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marlene Dishaw; three brothers, and a sister. Memorials may be made to St. Roch’s Catholic Church Building Fund. ———
