Mrs. Valeria E. Dixon, 77, of 2120
Grand Blvd., Detroit Beach, died
at 7:51 p.m. Saturday in St. Vin-
cent Medical Center, Toledo.

There will be no visitation or
services. The Allore Funeral Home
is in charge of arrangements.

Born July 21, 1912, in Flat Rock,
she was the daughter of Fred and
Leotta (Marks) Chase. She was
married in 1968 to Claude Dixon.
He died in 1978.

She was a member of the Monroe
Senior Citizens and the American
Association of Retired Persons.

Surviving are 2 sons, Aubrey
Lazarz of Trenton and Daryle
Lazarz of Flat Rock; 3 stepsons,
Richard Oley of Monroe, Edwin
Oley of Hudson, Fla., and Claude
Dixon Jr. of Grass Valley, Calif.; 2
stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary School-
ey of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mrs.
Ann Oley of Hudson, Fla.; a
brother, Wynet Chase of Trenton; 7
grandchildren, 25 ste grand-
children, °8 great-grandchildren
and 24 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to a
charity of the donor’s choice.
