WALTZ -—Clara Bertha Doede, 90,
of Waltz, a member of St. John ~
Lutheran Church, died Sunday in
Mercy Memorial Hospital,
Monroe.

Friends may call until 9 tonight at
Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home,
Flat Rock. Services will be held at
noon Wednesday at St. John
Lutheran Church. The Rev. Dr.
Dennis M. Berkesch, pastor of the
church, will officiate. Burial will
be in Michigan Memorial Park,
Flat Rock. :

Born Noy, 24, 1909, in Waltz, she
was the daughter of Carl and
Bertha (Piotraschke) Staschke. She
married Arnold R. Doede May 23,
1930, at St. John Lutheran Church.

She was a homemaker and a
member of the Ladies Aid and
Ladies Auxiliary at St. John
Lutheran Church. She was a life-
long area resident. i

Surviving are her husband; a
son, Arnold C. of New Boston, and
two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by
three brothers, Herman, Arthur
and Carl. |
