She had been seriously ill for two days. Friends may call from | to 9 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock. She will lie in state Mon- day at:St. John’s Louth eara dh Church, Waltz, from 11. a.m. until services at noon. The Rey. Dr. Dennis M. Berkesch, associ- DORIS DOEDE ate pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Michi- gan Memorial Park, Flat Rock. Born June 9, 1910, in Fayette County, Ohio, she was the daugh- ter of Leander and Mary (Bryant) Horney. She was married on Nov. 2, 1929, to Theodore Doede. He died in 1983. A homemaker, she was a mem- ber of St. John’s Church in Waltz and its Sewing Circle. She also was a member of the Lutheran Ladies Auxiliary Chapter 32 and the Waltz, Ash and Flat Rock Senior Citizens. Surviving are two sons, Paul of Weaverville, N.C., and Raymond of Allen Park; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Ruth) Kuderik of Car- leton, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Olin and Elbert Horney. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Church in Waltz.
