—— ‘vening News, Tues., Aug. 29, 1997 EA Frederick R. Doede TRENTON — Frederick R. Doede, 93, of New Boston died Thursday evening at Oakwood Skilled Nursing Center, Trenton. He had been ill for several months. Friends may call from 12:30 to 9 tonight in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock. He will lie in state from noon until 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Matthew’s Epis- copal Church, Flat Rock, where services will be at | p.m. The Rev. Gene Curry, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock. Born Jan. 12, 1904, in Weyauwega, Wis., he was the son of August and Louise (Bluhm) Doede. He married Hazel E. Con- nolly on April 28, 1984, in St. Matthew’s Church. He was employed as a track foreman for the D.T. & I. Rail- road, Flat Rock, before retiring in 1974. He previously worked on his own farm on Will-Carleton Dr., Flat Rock. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. Surviving are his wife; two sons; a daughter, and two brothers, Erwin of Flat Rock and Arnold of Waltz. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Theodore.
