J inal DEATHS Irvin E. Doede Sr. FLAT ROCK — Irvin E. Doede Sr, 91, of Flat Rock died at 6 a.m. Tuesday at Seaway Hospital, Trenton. He had been ill since October. Friends may call from 12:30 to 9 tonight and from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home. He will lie in state from noon until services at 1 p.m. Friday at St. John’s Lutheran ~ Church, Waltz, with the Rev. Den- nis M. Berkesch, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Carleton Cemetery, Carleton. Born June.20, 2.1906, in Weyauwega, Wis., he was the son of August and Louise (Bluhm) Doede. He married Luetta Cochran on Feb. 12, 1927, in Tole- do. She died Jan. 27, 1994. He was employed at Ford Motor Co., Monroe Plant,.as a steel inspector before retiring in 1968. He was previously employed at the Ford Motor Headlight Plant. He was employed for 48 years by Ford Motor Co. He was a mem- ber of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Local 723, United Auto Workers, Monroe, metal stamping and the Flat Rock Lodge 1731, Benevo- lent and Protective Order of Elks. Surviving are three sons, Ervin, Warren and Kenneth, all of Flat Rock; a brother, Arnold of Waltz, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Joanne and Iris Doede. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
