Jetha G. Dorenbush

HURON TOWNSHIP —
Jetha G. Dorenbush, 84, of
Huron Township, a past presi-
dent of the Flat Rock Garden
Club and former executive sec-
retary to the principal at
Renton Junior High School,
died Friday at her home.

Friends may call from noon
to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Arthur
Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat
Rock, where services will be
at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev.
Louise Worsham from the
Lincoln Park.Church of God
will officiate, and burial will
be in Michigan Memorial
Park, Huron Township.

Born May 21, 1918, in
Dunbar, Va., she was the
daughter of David and Helen
(Baker) Shortt. She married
Jerry G. Dorenbush April 24,
1971, in Flat Rock.

A resident of the township |
for more than 55 years, she
retired as a school secretary
in 1980. She also was employed °
as a telephone operator in Flat
Rock until 1948.

She was a member of the
Flat Rock Garden Club for
more than 25 years.

In addition to her husband
at home, she is survived by
three sons, Joel D. (Ethelanne)
Antol of Woodhaven, Deryle F
(Lena) Maddick of Georgia
and William G. Maddick -of
Denver, Colo.; two brothers,
William A. of Farmington
Hills and Jack D. of Florida;
seven grandchildren, and two

. great-grandchildren.
