r Roy C. Doty Sr. ’ FLAT ROCK — Roy Clifford Doty Sr., 81, of Flat Rock died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in River- side Gatsbpathie Hospital, Tren- ton. He had been ill for nine’years. There will be no visitation or . services. Cremation will be at” Woodmere Cemetery, Detroit. The Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Born Nov. 2, 1912, in Putman County, Ohio, he was the son of Rutherford and Mary (Baxter) Doty. He was married March 21, 1936, to Lois M. oe They had lived in Flat Rock for 44 years. : He had been employed as an operator for Socony Mobil Oil in Trenton from age 17 to age 62, retiring in 1974. He was a member of Hiram Lodge 110, Free and Accepted Masons, of Flat Rock. i Surviving are his wife; a son, Roy Jr. of Canton; two daughters, Mary K. Doty of Oak Park and Naomi J. Doty of Dearborn Heights; two sisters, Charlotte Eisenberg of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Ruth Hooks of Lima, Ohio; five grandchildren, and two great- grandchildren. ‘ He was preceded in death by four brothers, Harry, Alfred, Cur- tis and Clarence; and three sis- ters, Anabelle, Auriellia and Luel- la Doty.
