DEATHS Rockwood man dies from crash injuries ROCKWOOD — Joseph E. Doute, 26, of Rockwood died at 3:40 a.m. Friday in the Special Tree Rehabilitation Center in | Romulus from injuries he suffered in a four-vehicle crash on M-50 in Dundee Township on June 1, 1996. Friends may call from 12:30 to 9 p.m. today and from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home and burial will be in Michigan Memo- rial Park, Flat Rock. He was one of eight people, including four children, injured when three passenger vehicles and a tractor trailer collided on M-50 near Wilcox Rd. about noon. Mr. Doute, a passenger in one of the cars, was flown by helicopter from the scene to St. Vincent Mercy © Medical Center, Toledo. The dri- | ver of the trailer, who lived in Toledo, also was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Born March 29, 1971, in Wyan- dotte, he was the son of Patrick M. and Brenda Kay (Hoff) Doute. He was employed as a mold processor for the R. J. Marshall Co. in Rockwood at the time of the accident. He took a medical retirement in 1996. A 1990 graduate of Carlson High School, he served in the U.S. Marines and was stationed. at Camp Lejeune, N.C. He played junior varsity football at Carlson and specialized in wood shop, metal shop and auto mechanics. He was a member of the Rock- wood Lodge 1157, Loyal Order of Moose. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Mary Morris of Monroe, and five sisters, Anna Clegg and Margaret Kedzierski, both of Flat Rock, Patricia Rothermal of Woodhaven, Jessica Kujala of Allen Park and _ Linda Hoff of Romulus. ~wtedeoumay he made. athe “Ua,
