FLAT ROCK - Kate Droge,
77, of Flat Rock died Saturday
in Henry Ford Wyandotte
Hospital.

Friends may call from 1 to 9
p.m. Monday at Arthur
Bobcean Funeral Home, where
services will be held at 10 a.m.
Tuesday. The Rev. John Negele,
pastor of Faith Evangelical
Lutheran Church,
Brownstown Township, will
officiate. Burial will be in
Michigan Memorial Park,
Huron Township.

Born April 16, 1924 in
Wettenscheid, Germany, she
was the daughter of Hermann
and Maria Elisabeth
(Steinbrecher). Werner. She
married Karl Droge Jan. 26,
1946, in Cuxhaven, Germany.

Mrs. Droge was a 45-year Flat
Rock resident and a member
of the Downriver Germania
Club.

Surviving are two daughters |
Barbara (Arthur) Wenzel of |

South Rockwood and Erika
(Walt) Hughes of Carleton; a
brother, Hermann of
Germany; a sister, Friedel
Thyrion of Germany, and six
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death

by her husband in 1998 and a
son, Fredrick.
