Dulecki, 58, of New Boston, a for- mer fire chief of the Huron Town- ship Volunteer Fire Department, died at 5:51 a.m. Saturday in the emergency room at Oakwood Hospital-Annapolis Center in Wayne where he had been admit- ted that day. Friends may call from | to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday in the Crane Funer- al Home, 36885 Goddard Rd., Romulus, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight. Services will be at 1:15 p.m. Monday in the funeral home and a Mass will be at 2 p.m. in St. Stephen Catholic Church, New Boston. The Rev. Alexander Wytrwal, pas- tor, will officiate and burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Born March 6, 1939, in Detroit, _ he was the son of Edward S. and Irene B. (Lukasik) Dulecki. He married Janice M. Ziegler on March 2, 1959, | He was employed by the Detroit Edison Co. at its Monroe Power | Plant, retiring Oct. 15, 1995. He | was a 25-year member of the fire | department, retiring as chief in | 1991. He also served in the Navy. | In addition to his wife of New | Boston, he is survived by a son, Jeff M. of New Boston; three daughters, Roxanne L. and Mrs. Davis (Deanne M.) Backhaus, | both of New Boston, and Mrs. Tim | (Rhonda L.) Begeman of South | Rockwood; three brothers, Peter | and Thomas, both of New Boston, | and Gerald of Sumpter Township; | a sister, Iris lott of New Boston, | and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jeanette. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
