Alice H. Ernst

FLAT ROCK — Alice H. Ernst,
90, of Flat Rock died Wednesday
in the Applewood Nursing Cen-
ter, Woodhaven. She had-been in “
poor health for several years. -

Friends may call until 9 tonight

> Home, Flat Rock. She will lie in
state from noon until services at 1
p.m. Saturday in St. John Luther-
an Church, Waltz. The Rev.
William Morris of St. John
Lutheran Church will officiate and
burial will be in Huron Valley
Cemetery, Flat Rock. :

Born Feb. 8, 1905, in Carleton,
she was the daughter of Henry L.
and Lola (Bennett) Hoffman. She
married Cash Ernst on April 26,
1930, in St. John Lutheran’
Church, Waltz. He preceded her
in death Oct. 29, 1976. a,

She worked as a clerk with

Gibraltar Pharmacy for 10 years,

retiring in 1980.
She was a member of St; John ‘

Lutheran Church, Waltz, Soropti-
! mist International of Flat Rock
"and the Flat Rock Women’s Study

Club.
