(Brancheau) Everett Sr. He married Virginia E. Beatty on June 26, 1947, in St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was employed at the Ford Motor Co., River Rouge Plant for 10 years and employed at the Dundee Cement Plant for 22 years before retiring in 1979. He was a full-time farmer. He was a mem- ber of the Monroe Shrine Club, the River Raisin 19, Knights Tem- plar, St. Mary Catholic Church and its ushers club, the American Cancer Society, the Scottish Right Valley of Detroit and Monroe, the Flat Rock, Monroe and French- town Senior Citizens, president of the Optimist Club, R.S.V.P. of Monroe, Huron Valley Council 5446, Flat ‘Rock Knights of Columbus and its color core, Monroe Lodge 27, Free and Accepted Masons, charter mem- ber of the Golden Lions Club of Monroe, former member of the floral city square and round danc- ing club, and a charter and life member of the Lake Erie, Toledo, and Western Railways Museum in Waterville, Ohio. He was also a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 6, Monroe, and Troop 133, Newport. He was also an assistant scoutmaster for ‘Troop 504 for the handicapped. Surviving are his wife; five sons, George E. and Timothy E., both of Newport, Michael E. of Peters- burg, Thomas E. of Monroe and Rodney E. of Carleton: two daughters, Mrs, Dany (Marie E.) Baehr of Monroe and Mrs, Larry (Dianne E.) Boik of South Rock- wood; 13 grandchildren: three Step- grandchildren, two great- grandchildren. and four step- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Evelyn Mae Bellmore and Harriet M. , Benko. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Monroe or the George Everett Jr. Christmas Memorial fund.
