Clarence L. Fater

68, of Bitely, formerly of Flat
Rock, died of cancer Saturday at
his home. He had been ill for 16
months.

Friends May call until 9 tonight
at the Arthur Bobcean Funeral
Home, Flat Rock, where Services
will be held at [1 a.m. Wednesday.
The Rev. John Negele of Faith
Lutheran Church, Flat Rock, will |
officiate. Burial will be in Michi-
gan Memorial Park, Flat Rock.

Born Aug, 5, 1929, in Detroit, he
was the son of Clarence and
Bertha Fater. He Was married on |
Feb. 14, 1948. to Shirley Bass in
Flat Rock,

Mr. Fater had been employed |
by the McCord Corp. for 26 years
until retiring due to illness. oi

Surviving are his Wife; three |
sons, Leonard E, of Romulus,
Lonnie D. of Carleton and Lyn R.
of Baldwin: two sisters, Thelma
Nailloux of Bitely and Irene
Porath of Brownstown, and five
grandchildren,

He was preceded in death by a
brother.
