BELLEVILLE - Thomas
Michael Ferstle, 54, of Belleville,
formerly of Rockwood, died of
drowning Sunday in the Detroit
River at Grosse Ile.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday in the Ford Chapel of
the Allore Martenson Funeral ™
Home, Rockwood. A rosary will be
recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the
funeral home. Services will be at
10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral
home, followed by Mass at 11 a.m.»
at St. Mary Catholic Church,
Rockwood. The Rev. Thomas
Sauter, pastor, will officiate, A pri-
vate burial will be held.

Born Dec. 3, 1945, in Detroit, he
was the son of Emerson and Grace
(Newman) Ferstle. He married
Marie LaBo Nov. 29, 1963, in St.
Mary Catholic Church.

He was self-employed as a sales
representative for Furniture Mfgs. |

He was a past member of St.
Mary Catholic Church. He was a |
1963 graduate of Flat Rock High |
School, Flat Rock, and graduate
from Ferris State College, Big
Rapids, with a bachelor’s degree |
in marketing. He enjoyed boating. |
