She had been seriously ill for a month. Friends may call from 3 to 9 tonight at Rupp Funeral Home, where _ services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Gary Tryegestad, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, will offi- ciate. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. : Born April 4, VIOLET M. 1917, in Monroe, FINZEL she was the daughter of Arthur and Edith (Navarre) Hoffman. She married Clemens Gruber. She then married Edward Meyer, and he preceded her in death. On Aug. 21, 1959, she | married Elmer Finzel, and he died in 1985. Ahomemaker, she was a member | of Frenchtown Senior Citizens and | Zion Lutheran Church and its | Ladies Aid. She liked to play bingo. | Surviving are a son, Richard L. Gruber of Toledo; a daughter, Mrs. William (Nancy) Henderson of | Monroe; seven. grandchildren, and | 16 great-grandchildren. Tn addition to two husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, | Gary L. Gruber; two brothers, Ken _ and Arthur; a grandson, and two great-grandchildren.
