Gertrude N. Fleming

FLAT ROCK — Gertrude N.
Fleming, 74, of Flat Rock, died at
12:05 a.m. Saturday in Seaway
Hospital, Trenton. She had been ill
for several years, seriously for
four weeks.

Friends may call from 9 a.m.
until time of services at 11 a.m.
Monday at the Arthur Bobcean
Funeral Home Inc. The Rev.
Evans Bentley of First United

Born Oct. 9, 1922, in Sandusky,
Mich., she was the daughter of
Charles and lah (McDonald)
Neimeyer. She married David O.
Fleming on Jan. 12, 1945, in

Detroit. He died July 27; 1995.
t She was assistant treasurer for
- Brownstown Towns ip for
years, retiring in 1984. She also
worked on the Selective Service
Board from July 1, 1941, through
Aug. 5, 1946

She graduated from Slocum
Truax High School in Trenton in
1940. She enjoyed working in her
yard and with flowers. She also
was an avid baseball and Red
Wings fan.

She is survived by a niece,
nephews and a cousin.
