Vow. Dice: 2S; 1G9¢% Dr. Leonard Florek FLAT ROCK — Dr. Leonard (Sam) Florek, 70, of Flat Rock died at 2:10 a.m. Sunday in Oak- wood Hospital, Dearborn. He had been ill for several weeks, Friends may call until 9 tonight and from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home. A Lodge of Sorrow ser- vice will be held at 7 p.m. T uesday at the funeral home followed by the recitation of the rosary at 7:30. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funer- al home and at 10 at St. Roch’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Freder- ick Misiolek will officiate, and burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown Township. Born March 21, 1926, in Del- : ray, he was the son of John H. and - © Mary V. (Halat) Florek. He was married on April 3, 1948, to Dar- lene Zamzow in Delray. They had lived in Flat Rock since 1954. © A Navy veteran of World War II, Dr. Florek had been a chiroprac- | tor in Allen Park for 46 years. He » was a member of the Michigan Chiropractic Academy and had served as its president. He also was a member of St. Roch’s Church and of Flat Rock Lodge 1731, Benevolent and Pro- tective Order of Elks, where he was voted Elk of the Year for 1978-79 and had served as presi- dent of the board of trustees. Dr. Florek also had been an avid bowler for the Elks League and other leagues. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Dr. John Florek of Riverview, Dann Florek of Santa Monica, Calif., and Dave Florek of Van Nuys, Calif.; a daughter, Mary K. (Florek) LaMantia of Flat Rock; two brothers, Harry Florek of Carleton and Dr, Edward Florek of Phoenix, Ariz., and four grandchildren.
