Charles H. Francis FLAT ROCK — Charles H. Francis, 90, of Walnut St., died at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday in Seawa: Hospital, Trenton. He had been ill for three months. He will lie in state Saturday in the First Con- gregational United Church of rist, Flat Rock, from 2:30 pe until services at 3:30. The Rev. Leland Booker will officiate and burial will be in Oak Ridge Ceme- tery, Flat Rock. Born Aug. 20, 1900, in Ivanhoe, Ontario, Canada, he was the son of Robert and Winnie (Martyn) Francis. He was married Sept. 5, 1923, to Edna Embury in Belleville, Ontario, and they came to the United States in 1926. He retired in 1965. _He had been a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ since 1935; a member of Hiram Lodge 110, Free and Accepted Masons, and the Flat Rock Senior Citizens. Surviving are his wife; a son, Charles Philip of Branson, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Mari- lyn) Kreger of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Mrs. Marko (Sandra) An- tolovic of Gibraltar; eight grand- children, and four great-grand- children. He was spercedel in death by a brother and three sisters. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the church.
