Boniface John (B.J.) Frey, 89, of
Monroe, a former bus driver for
Jefferson Schools for 25 years, died
at 1 a.m. Saturday in his home. He
had been ill for six weeks,

Born April 22, 1911, in Newport,
he was the son of Michael and
Caroline (Masserant) Frey, He mar-
ried Genevieve Compeau on June
8, 1934. She died Oct. 8, 1981.

He retired from his job at
Jefferson in 1976. Before working
there, he was an agent and dis-
tributor for Shell Oil Co. for 17
years. :

He was a member of the
Frenchtown Township Senior.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth °
