Geis, 90, of Temperance, died Wednesday in Lake Park Conva- lescent Center, Sylvania, Ohio. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Bedford Funer- | al Chapel where Masonic Services will be held at 7 tonight. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sat- urday in the funeral home. The Rey. Andy Hill, pastor of Calvary Bible Chapel, Toledo, will offici- ate. Burial will be in Whiteford Union Cemetery, Ottawa Lake. Born Novy. 18, 1907, in Toledo, | he was the son of John and Bertha (Wolf) Geis. He married Clara- belle Gillhouse on Dec. 9, 1934, in Bowling Green, Ohio. She died on April 1, 1996. He was employed as a printer by The Toledo Blade for 41 years, retiring in 1971. He was a member of Samaria Lodge 438, Free & Accepted Masons, the Bedford Senior Citi- zens and Local 63, International Typographical Union. Suryiving are a stepson, Burley (Bud) Hatcher of Toledo; a broth- er, John of Toledo; five grandchil- dren, and seven great-grandchil- dren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell L. and Robert W. Memorials may be made to the Iyor Lindsay Memorial fund or the Bedford Senior Citizens.
