clea, Mae, q er John V. Geissler ae FLAT ROCK — John Vincent Geissler, 76, of Flat Rock died of natural causes at 9:08 a.m. Mon- day at his home. Friends may call from 1:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home. Crema- tion will be held. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park. Born Aug. 14.1921, in Flat Rock, he was the son of Otto and Rose (Pflieger) Geissler. He was married on Nov. 8, 1945, to Mil- dred L. Wade in the First Congre- gational United Church of Christ parsonage. Mr. Geissler was employed as a Carpenter, working with his father. for 59 years. 5 He had attended Flat Rock High School and was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife; a daugh- ter, Mrs. Linwood (Dana) Lip- scom of Monroe; three sisters. Charlotte Watson of Flat Rock, Virginia Wallis of Okemos and Vivian Geissler of Detroit, and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death bya son, Vincent, and two brothers, Brian and Otto. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
