Glandenes, 89, a lifelong Carleton
resident, died Sunday at St.
Vincent Mercy Medical Center,
Toledo.

Born Aug. 15, 1911, in Carleton,
she was the daughter ‘of Frank and
Mary (Schmidt) Bergmooser. She |
married John A. Glandenes Jan. |
26, 1935.

She had worked for Ford Motor
Co.’s Flat Rock lamp plant, which
later moved to Monroe. She also
founded and co-owned Village
Lunch and was former owner of
Johnny’s Bar, both in Carleton.

She was amember of St. Patrick
Catholic Church and its Altar
Society and Ash and Frenchtown
Senior Citizens.

Surviving are her husband; a
daughter, Mrs. Earl (Germaine
“Jerri”) Wiseman of Carleton;
three grandchildren, and eight
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five
brothers, Arthur, Cyril, Franklin,
Elvoid and Kenneth, and two sis-
ters, Bernice and Aurella.
