“Monroe E Olive E. Gonyea _~ SOUTH ROCKWOOD — Olive (Honey) Elizabeth Gonyea, 86, of South Rockwood died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in Oakwood Skilled Nursing Center, Trenton. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Ford Chapel of the Allore-Martenson Funeral Home. A recitation of the rosary will take place at 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the funer- al home and at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Rockwood. The Rev. Fred Misiolck of St. Rock Catholic Church, Flat Rock, will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Rockwood. Born Jan. 19, 1909, in Newport, — she was the daughter of Frank V. and Lucy (Reaume) Masserant. | She was married to William | Gonyea Oct. 1, 1930. He preceded | her in death Nov. 22, 1980. | She was employed as a spot | welder for the River Rouge Plant, | Ford Motor Co., from 1943 until | her retirement in 1971. ae She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Rockwood. She is survived by a son, Ray- mond of Rockwood; a daughter, | Mrs. Harvey (Beverly) Sharp of | Venice, Fla.; a brother, Martin of | Newport; 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Cletus, and three sisters, | Frances Macoit, Almira Masserant | and Valda Lensky. .
