Ae, see. 2 1976 DEATHS Kathryn L. Greening BROOKLYN, Mich. —Kathryn L. Greening, 73, of Brooklyn, for- merly of Monroe, died at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday in her home in Brooklyn where she had lived for three weeks. She had been in poor health for a year. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Rupp Funeral Home. She will lie in state from 1 p.m. until ser- vices at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Presbyterian Church. The Revs. Dean and Ellen McGorm- 4 ley of the\First KATHRYN L. \ Presbyterian GREENING Church will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Born May 25, 1922, in East Palestine, Ohio, she was the daughter of Ernest John and Anne Nichols (Alexander) Ronal. She was married to Edward P. Green- ing on Dec. 21, 1945, in Monroe. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31;7197:1: She was employed as a court clerk with the Monroe County Clerk’s office until her retirement in 1986. She was a 1940 Monroe High School graduate, and a graduate of Stevens College, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She was a member and past president of the Monroe Garden Club and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two sons, John R. and William W., both of Brooklyn; a sister, Mrs. Melvin (Marjorie) Oestrike of Monroe, and seven grandchildren.
