Gudith =~ Now. 17, 1918-Feb. 24, 2000 FLAT ROCK. — Floyd Edward Gudith, 81, of Flat Rock, a Navy vet- eran during World War Il and a for- mer supervisor at the Ford Motor | Co.’s engineering plant in Dearborn for 38 years, died at 8:32 p.m. Thursday in Riverside Osteopathic Hospital, Trenton, fol- lowing a lengthy illness. He had been in the hospital for one week. Friends may call from 1 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the Ford Chapel of the Allore-Martenson Funeral Home, Rockwood, where services will be at 7:30 with the Rev. Robert Karacson from the Lakepointe Community Church, Rockwood, officiating. A Downriver Honor Guard will hold a military flag committal ceremony following the service. Cremation is planned. Born Nov. 17, 1918, in Detroit, he was the son of Walter and Jennie (Schock) Gudith. He retired from Ford in 1974. He was an avid golfer and hunter, Surviving are one son, Ted of Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Dian) Carmichael of Trenton and Mrs. James (Cheri) Stzeleck of Newport; one sister, Leona Reynolds of Flat Rock: six grandchildren,, and; eight great- | grandchildren. .., i eel Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. |
