Entombment will be in Huron Val- ley Cemetery, Flat Rock. : Born July 16, 1928, in Glad- stone, he was the son of Lloyd and Hortense (Christoff) Haglund. He married Melva J. Block on June 11,1955,in Gladstone, He was a patrolman for the Detroit Police Department for 26 years, retiring in 1976, and was a Korean War veteran. He was a member of Flat Rock Lodge 1731, Benevolent and Pro- tective Order of Elks: a member of Gladstone Post 0071 of the Amer- ican Legion and he bowled with the Elks, Friday Classic League and Merchant’s League in Flat ° Rock. ; Surviving are his wife; a son, Jeffery B. MacZink of Rockwood; _ a daughter, Melanie L. Stead of Ecorse; two brothers, Harold of Havasu City, Ariz., and Glenn of Marionville; three sisters, Marie Rowland of Jefferson Town, Ky., Lorraine West of Chicago and. Arlene Gasperich of Broadville, Ill., and two grandchildren.
