Lhe: LF 7, BEER DEATHS Richard C. Hale FLAT ROCK — Richard Carl Hale, 67, of Flat Rock died of a heart attack at 8:27 a.m. Wednes- day at Annapolis Hospital, Wayne. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Edgar Herman of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church will offi- ciate. Cremation will be held. Born Sept. 14, 1927, in Detroit, he was the son of Grant and Flo- rina (Arccuci) Hale. Mr. Hale had been employed as a millwright by Monsanto Chem- ical for 35 years, retiring in 1985. For the past two years, he had been the assistant manager of the Metro Willow Park Golf Course. An Army veteran of World War IL, he served from Dec. 10, 1945, to Oct. 3, 1946, with the Merchant Marines. He was a member of Flat Rock Lodge 1731, Benevolent and Pro- tective Order of Elks, and had par- ticipated in its bowling league. Surviving are two sons, David of Flat Rock and Richard Jr. of Cali- fornia; a daughter, Rene Colton of Garden City; two brothers, James of Arizona and Grant of Florida, and seven grandchildren. __ He was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Hale; a stepson, Steven Reech; a grandson, Daniel Hale; a brother, Robert, and two sisters, Venus Cole and Dorothy Mementh.
