J Ethel L. Hartman Feb. 10, 1902-Dec. 17, 2001 PETERSBURG - Services have been set for Ethel L. Hartman, 99, of Petersburg, who died at 12:30 a.m. Monday at TenderCare of Monroe. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Cover Funeral Home, Dundee. She will lie in state from 10 until services at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John Lutheran Church, Dundee. The Revs. Martin and Angela Zimmann, co-pastors of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View * Cemetery. Born Feb. 10, 1902, in Dundee, she was the daughter of Cornelius and Wilhemina Bunkleman. She married Roy Hartman May 27, 1921, in Ann © Arbor. He died July 15, 1983. A telephone operator, she | worked for Petersburg- Deerfield Phone Co. many | years ago. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Dundee and Dundee, Petersburg and Deerfield | Senior Citizens. She enjoyed | playing cards. Surviving are a son, Richard | (Kate) of Dundee; two daugh- | ters, June Goetz of Monroe and Mildred Corbin of Essex Junction, Vt.; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Dorothy) Kraus of | i i Dundee; 17 grandchildren; 34 | great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Murdock; two brothers, Hazen and Clyde Hiser, and a granddaughter. Memorials may be made to | St. John Lutheran Church.
