Chet le 1995 DEATHS William Frank Havenstein August 24, 1936-June 17, 1998 NEW BOSTON —— William Frank Havenstein, 61, of Huron Township died Wednesday in Trenton. Friends may call from | to 9 p-m. Saturday and from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Taylor. Dr. Geoffrey G. Drutchas, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mallet Cemetery, New Boston. Born Aug. 24, 1936, in Taylor, he was the son of William and Eleanore (Klauza) Havenstein. He married Shirley Marquardt on Aug. 27, 1955, in Flat Rock. A resident of New Boston for 50 years, he was employed by Conrail and was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Taylor, and the brotherhood of railway trainmen. Surviving are his wife; his moth- er; four daughters, Mrs. Larry (Morene) Podlaski of Grosse Ile, Mrs. Michael (Rebecca) Haven- stein-Coughlin of Canton, Mrs. Steve (Julia) Havenstein-Tillis of Royal Oak and Mrs. Gerald (Kris- tine) Fargo of Detroit; three broth- ers, Bruce of Wayne, David of New Boston and Kenneth of New York; two sisters, Sharon Stone of Frankfort and Cynthia Haven- stein of New Boston, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorial may be made to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ’s organ fund.
