FLAT ROCK — Lucinda (Vree-

land) Hehl, 48, of Flat Rock, died
of natural causes Friday in Univer-
sity of Michigan Hospital, Ann
Arbor. She had been ill for the past
six Weeks.
. Friends may call from 5 to 9
p.m. today, and from noon to 9
p.m. Sunday at the Arthur
‘Bobcean Funeral. Home, Flat
Rock. Funeral services will be
-held‘at‘9;30 a:m. Monday in the ©
funeral home and at 10 a.m. in St.
Roch Catholic Church, Flat Rock.

ate. Burial will be in Huron Val-
ley Cemetery, Flat Rock. ;

Born Aug. 28, 1947, in Monroe,
she. was the daughter of John and
Florence (Alexander) Vreeland.
She married Lawrence Heh! on
Oct. 9, 1965, at St. Roch Catholic
Church. ee

She was employed as the direc-
tor of Flat Rock Community
Schools’ graphic arts department
for 12 years. i

She also worked as a free lance

artist.
She was a 1965 graduate of Flat
Rock High School, was a charter
member of the Flat Rock Histori-
cal Society and was a member of
St. Roch Catholic Church.

husband, are her mother of Mon-
toe: foster parents, Arthur and
Ethel Bobcean of Flat Rock: a son,
James of Naples, Fla.; two daugh-
ters, Jacqueline of Flat Rock and
Jennifer of East Lansing; a broth-
er, Terrance Vreeland of Califor-
nia: two foster brothers, Lea’and
James Bobcean, both of Flat
Rock; two sisters, Mrs. John
(Judy) Rowland of Grand Ledge
and Kathryn Vreeland-Rapai of
Brighton; a foster sister, Joan
Bergdolt of Phoenix, Ariz. anda
grandfather, Roy Lee of Flat ©,

She was preceded in death by
her father; two brothers, Thomas
and Timothy, and her grandmoth-
er, Mildred Lee. aus
