NEW BOSTON - Eleanor Bertha
Helwig, 79, of New Boston died
Monday in her home.

Friends may call from 2 to 8:30
p.m. Wednesday at Arthur
Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock.
Services will be held at 11 a.m.
Thursday at St. John Lutheran
Church, Waltz. The Revs. Dr.
William L. Morris and Dr. Dennis
Berkesch will officiate. Burial will
be in Michigan Memorial Park,
Huron Township.

Born May 4, 1921, in Detroit, she _
was the daughter of Gustav and
Martha (Wuttke) Federspiel. She
married Emil Helwig May 18, 1946,
at St. Stephen Lutheran Church,
Detroit. He died Oct. 15, 1997.

She was a bus driver for Huron
High School for 25 years, retiring in
1992. For 15 years, she also had
delivered milk from her farm.

She was a member of St. John
Lutheran Church.

Surviving are a brother, Fred of
Allen Park, and a sister, Mildred
Barnum of Livonia.

In addition to her husband, she
was preceded in death by a broth-
er.
