Friends may call from | to ¢ tonight and from 11 a.m. Sunday to 2 p.m. funeral services in the Cover Funeral Home, Dundee. Military services will be conduct- ed by the Dundee Veterans Memo- rial. Charles Fra- zier of Dundee Baptist Church will _ officiate. Burial will be in WeSLER Maple Grove Cemetery, Dundee. Born Jan. 18, 1921, in Rais- inville Township, he was the son . of John and Rose (Benore) Heisler. He married Catherine A. Armstrong on June 14, 1947, in St. John Catholic Church, Mon- roe. She died Sept. 18, 1992. He worked for 33 years at Mon- roe Auto Equipment, retiring in 1983. He also worked 9'xt2 years at Tecumseh Products, Tecumseh. He was a chief machinist mate in the Navy from 1942 to 1946, serving overseas and in Japanese waters. He was a member of Lynn C. Weeman Post 514, American ‘Legion; a life member and past commander of Moore Lenz Wake- field Post 6462, Veterans of For- eign Wars, Dundee; a member of Chapter 42, Disabled American Veterans, Dundee; and past cor- poration president of Dundee Vet- erans Memorial. Surviving are three sons, James of LaSalle, William of Dundee and John of Petersburg; three daughters, Mrs. Walter (Pamela) Parrish of Petersburg, Mrs. Jack (Mary) Cadaret of Johannesburg; and Mrs. William (Darlene) Seegert of Petersburg; 16 grand- children, and nine great-grand- children. Besides his wife, he was pre- ceded in death by an infant daugh- ter, Patricia; brothers Hazen, Howard and Clifford; and sisters Beulah Stough, Grace Missler and Joyce Chandler.
