r ee Yb eb oboe ee | Pere, , Rho, 3, CT AlvinF. Hildebrand NEW BOSTON — Alvin F. Hildebrand, 86, of New Boston, died at 7:44 a.m. Monday in Sea- way Hospital, Trenton. He had been in poor health several months. Friends may call from 4:30 to- night until 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home Inc., Flat Rock. He will lie in state Thursday in Faith Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until services at 11. The Rev. John Negele will officiate and burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock. Born Aug. 26, 1906, in New Boston, he was the son of William and Emma (Niefert) Hildebrand. He was married Sept. 8, 1928, to Elma I. Begeman in Faith Lu- theran Church, where he also was baptized and confirmed. His wife preceded him in death Aug. 22, 1986. Mr. Hildebrand, a lifetime farmer in Huron Township, had worked in quality control at the Ford Motor Co. in Flat Rock and later at Ford’s Monroe Stamping Plant, for 38 years. He retired in 1962. He was a member of Faith Lu- theran Church, Flat Rock; Flat Rock Lodge 1731, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, where he also was a past exalted ruler, and a member of the Flat Rock Sports- mens Club. He had been a volunteer fire- man in Flat Rock for 20 years be- fore retiring in 1948. Surviving are two sons, Ronald of New Boston and Donald of Car- leton; three daughters, Mrs. Duane (Alverene) Gaynier of New Bos- ton, Mrs. Kenneth (Beverly) Wed- dle of Carleton, and Mrs. Garner (Donna) Le Force of West Branch; — a sister, Mrs. Sherman (Lillian) Getchell of Redford Township; 13 grandchildren, and nine great- grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Faith Church in Flat Rock.
