J ohn “Wil- son Hill, 70, former pastor of Evangelical United Brethren Church at Blissfield, who died at Niles Wednesday, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Evangelical Unit- ed Brethren Church at Battle! - Creek, where he was pastor for 21 years before moving to Niles. Burial will be in Oakhill Ceme- tery at Battle Creek. A prayer service will be at 10 a.m. Satur-, dey in Niles Evangelical United Brethren Church, where he had been three years. He was born July 7, 1886, at. Port Creek, the son of Wilson and| Catherine Viles Hill. He married Lizzie B. Bale, daughter of Mrs. Mary Bale of Monroe. She pre- ceded him in death. He later mar- ried Elsie Spicer of Carleton. He is survived by his wife, two daugh- ters, Mrs. Lloyd (Alice) Bepler| of Battle Creek and Mrs. Marvin (Catherine) Grostic of Kalama- zoo; a son, Dr. Tyron W. Hill of Downers Grove, Ill.; a brother, Fred B. Hill of Flat Rock, and a number of nephews and nieces. |
