degt 28,1999 RobertL. Hill FLAT ROCK — Robert L. Hill, 70, of Flat Rock died at 7:45 a.m. Sunday in the Riverside Os- teopathic Hospital, Trenton. He had been ill for several months. The family will receive friends beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock, where a memorial ser- vice will follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Thomas L. Schroeder of St. John Lutheran Church, Waltz, will officiate. Born July 24, 1922, in Ash Township, he was the son of Fred B. and Cora (Cronenwett) Hill. He was married June 16, 1943, to Genevieve Larson in Flat Rock. They made their home on the Ash Township homestead where he was a self-employed lifetime farmer. He was a member of the Ida Farm Bureau. Surviving are his wife; a son, Roger M. of Flat Rock; three daughters, Mrs. Anthony (Julia) Rogers of Lincoln Park, Mrs. James (Betty Jane) Geyer of Mecosta and Mrs. John (Kathleen) Wrobel of Flat Rock; a brother,. Fred of Flat Rock; two. sisters, Carol Johnson of Farmington | Hills and Mary Jane Mahoney of Gibraltar, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Bobbie; a daughter, Sally, and a grandson, Robert Nutmann. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
