Hinzmann, 95, of South Rock- wood, who died Sunday night in Applewood Nursing Home, Woodhaven, where she had lived for six years. She had been ill for two weeks. Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight and from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Ford Chapel of the Allore-Martenson Funeral Home, Rockwood. She will lie i state from noon until services at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. John’s United Church of Christ, Wyandotte. The Rev. Norman Kirsch will officiate and burial will be in West Mound Cemetery, Taylor, Born June 7, 1899, in Ecorse Township, she was the daughter of a and Eva (Tuchielski) Back- us. She was married June 26, 1920, to John C. Hinzmann in St. John’s Church, of which she was a mem- ber. Mr. Hinzmann died Jan. 2S, 1978. Surviving are five sons, Rodney C. of Lincoln Park, Virgil J. of South Rockwood, Frank O. of Rockwood, and LeRoy S. and Harold F., both of Flat Rock; two daughters, Mrs. James (Dolores) Saleski of Trenton, and Lois Gor- don of Wyandotte; 15 grandchil- dren, and 22 great-grandchildren, In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John Jr.; a daughter, Heen Hinz- mann; three brothers, six sisters, two grandchildren and a great- grandchild. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Church in Wyandotte.
