Arnold 8. Hoffman

Arnold (Jack) B. Hoffman, 76, a
Monroe County resident until he
moved to Trenton in 1979, died of
heart failure at 4 p.m. Friday at
the Knights Inn in Frenchtown
Township.

Friends may call from 2 to 4
p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday
at the Allore Funeral Home, where
the rosary is scheduled to be said
at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Services will
be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the
funeral home with the Rev. Brian
Chabala of St. Mary Catholic
Church officiating. Burial will be
in Roselawn Memorial Park,
LaSalle.

Born July 11, 1912, in Carleton,
he was the son of Phillip and Edna
(Cousino) Hoffman. He was mar-
ried Dec. 26, 1939, to Arda Peters.
She died July 16, 1964. In 1969 he
married Anna Reid.

Mr. Hoffman was a bus driver
for the Jefferson Schools District
and owned and operated the Sun-
oco station in Detroit Beach from
1930 to 1984, when he retired. :

He was a member of Monroe
Lodge 884, Loyal Order of Moose.

Surviving are his wife; a daugh-
ter, Mrs. Martin (Janet) Egler of
Trenton, and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to a
charity of the donor’s choice.
