% JO ne\ Deaths Betty Mae Hoffman March 7, 1922 —Jan. 30, 2003 RIVERVIEW — Betty Mae Hoffman, 80, of Riverview, for- merly of Flat Rock, died Friday in her home. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock. She will lie in state from 10 a.m. until services at 11 Monday at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Brownstown Township..The Rev. John Negele will officiate. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, . Huron Township. Born March 7, 1922; in Gresham, Ore., she was the daughter of Harley and Florance (Guynup) Buhr. » She married Glen Hoffman Aug. 9, 1939, in Youngstown, Ohio. He died in April, 1994. She was the bookkeeper for Hoffman Sunoco © Service Station in Flat Rock before retiring in 1982. She also per- formed clerical duties ‘at ~ Seaway Hospital. for three years. She was a den mother, Cub Scouts Pack 10, Den 8. She lived in Flat Rock for 45 years. She is survived by two sons, Ronald (June) Hoffman of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Raymond (Cindy) Hoffman ~ of Mancelona; .....a.... daughter, Rebecca (Bob) Davis of Flat Rock; a_ sister, Naomi Drouillard of Florida; 10 grandchildren, and 14 great- grandchildren. ‘ She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Buddy, and a brother, Robert.
