Lek 1G, 1460" * HENRY L. HOFFMAN Henry L. Hoffman, Si Of /2308 Newburg Road, Carleton, died Thursday night in the Beach Nursing Home at Monroe, where he had been about 10 days. The son of Balthouser and Henrietta Hoffman, he was born in. Huron Township Sept. 13, 1879, He married Lola Bennett in St. John’s Lutheran Church at Waltz April 8, 1904, of which he was a member. Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman had lived in the pres- ent home since their marriage. Surviving are his wife; a son, Allen of Bay City; daughters Mrs. Cash Ernst and Mrs. Louis Ernest of Flat Rock, Mrs. Walter Blanks of Trenton and Mrs. Edward Lachelt of South- gate; a brother, Fred of De- troit; sisters Mrs. Roland Moody of Detroit, Mrs. Elizazeth Mur- phy of Flat Rock and Mrs. Fred Bowman of Oak Park; nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Se Services were held in St. John’s Church Monday after- noon with the Rev. Merle Lutz officiating.
