Cota Heed” tm | (Special to The Evening News) FLAT ROCK—George Walter Hood, 83, of 13115 S. Telegraph Rd. died early this morning in Mercy Hospital at Monroe. The body is in the Bobcean fu- neral home where friends may call after 7 tonight. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chap- el of the funeral home. Born Sept. 29, 1874, in Ash Township, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hood. He was married April 9, 1902, to Cath- erine Gretzler. He was a member of Golden Sheaf of Flat Rock Grange, pres- ident of Monroe County Federal Land Bank Assn. and treasurer of Bancroft School. Surviving are twin sons, Lloyd and Floyd, both of Flat Rock; a daughter, Mrs. James (Margaret) Walls of Grand Rapids, Ohio, and four ‘ grandchildren. His wife died in 1955. Two twin childrer five brothers and one sister al]: preceded him.in death.
