r VRC + : AF, 199 L Rosemary E. Hoo NEWPORT — Rosemary Edith Hood, 77, of Newport died at 4:15 this morning at Mercy Memorial Hospital, Monroe, after a lengthy illness. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, with the Rev. David Campbell, chaplain of Mercy Memorial Hospital, offici- ating. The Bennett Funeral Home, Monroe, is in charge of arrange- ments. She was born Aug. 13, 1918, in Monroe. Her husband, Lloyd, pre- ceded her in death in 1972. Surviving are three sons, Robin : of Newport and Lloyd and Larry, both of Monroe, and eight grand- children.
