Schweizer was born Match 14, 1863, one of nine child- ren, three daughters and six sons, of Christian and Hannah (Heiss) Schweizer, just north of the vil- lage limits on a farm where her | parents located in 1862. She was ‘married to Abraham Johnson of | Exeter about 54 years ago. Ihe husband and one daughter Mary ' preceeded her in death. She is survived by one step-son Elias of Kansas City, Missour:; a son Elmer of Romulus and Mrs. | Rodda of Detroit; four prothers, | Albert with whom she made her home in Carleton, Julius of Flat 'Rock, Christ of Belleville and Philip of Romulus; 10. grand- children and 8 great-grand-child- ren. | Mrs. Johnson has been a ment ‘her of the Carleton Evangelical ‘church and the Ladies Aid Soci- ety for a number of years. ——_—/ — ) |
