Jones, 85, of Flat Rock died at 8:02 a.m. Saturday at Oakwood Seaway Hospital, Trenton, where she had been for the past week, of natural causes. She had been in poor health for 15 years. Friends may call from 12:30 to 9 p.m. today and noon to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Arthur Bobcean Funer- al Home, where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. David Gohn of Community Lutheran Church, Flat Rock, will officiate. Burial will be in Michi- gan Memorial Park. Born Oct. 31, 1910, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of Alexander and Almi- | ra (Faulkner) Marks. She was married on Nov. 28, 1933, to Charlie Jones in Trenton. They moved to Flat Rock in 1940. She was employed by McCord Gasket Co., Wyandotte, for 10 1° ‘years, retiring in 1940. She also | conducted a Weight Watchers class in Flat Rock for several years. She was a former member of First. Congregational United Church of Christ, where she was very active. She was also a mem- ber of Flat Rock Square Dance Club. Surviving are her husband, two sons, Mayor Richard C. Jones of Flat Rock and Chester Jones Of.:;, West Worthington, Ohio, and . three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Frank, Freeman, Frederick and Alexander, anda sister, Violet Diekman.
