Kahlbaum CARLETON — Mrs. Alberta G, (Barnum) Kahlbaum, 83, of Carleton, who served on the board of directors of Kahlbaum Brothers Inc., died at 2:57 p.m. Sunday in Frenchtown Nursing Care Center, Monroe. She had been ill for sev- eral weeks. ; Friends may call from 5 to 9 | tonight, from five to 9 p.m. Tues- | day and from 9:30 a.m. until ser- vices at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Carleton Chapel of the agar Bobcean Funeral Home Inc. The Rev. William L. Morris of St. John Lutheran Church, Waltz, will offi- ciate and burial will be in Carleton Cemetery. Born Aug. 7, 1910, in Carleton, she was the daughter of Floyd and Mabel (Deppen) Barnum. She was married to Monte Kahlbaum July - 18, 1933, in St. Joseph. He fed May 29, 1993. Mrs. Kahlbaum was a home maker and. a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Waltz, She was a graduate of Carleton High School and the Monroe Business College and participated in vil- lage, civic and church activities in Carleton. She also was a member of Car- leton Garden Club, Card Club, and Chapter 12, Lutheran Ladies Auxiliary. She participated in . bowling.
