dnroe Evening News, Fri., Dec. 22, 1989 Alberta M. Kalicki FLAT ROCK — Mrs. Alberta M. Kalicki, 70, of Flat Rock died Thursday night in Seaway Hospi- tal, Trenton, where she had been for four days. She had suffered from Alzheimer’s disease for 20 years. Friends may call in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, where services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Gary Imms of First United Methodist Church, Flat Rock, will officiate and burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park. Born June 10, 1919, in Bridgeport, W.Va., she was the daughter of Albert and Margaret V. (Friese) Wagner. She was married Oct. 6, 1945, to John Kalicki in First United Methodist Church. He died Dec. 2, 1974. Mrs. Kalicki had been employed by the Flat Rock Post Office from 1940 until retiring in 1973. She had served as postmistress for many years. Mrs. Kalicki was a member of the First United Methodist. Church in Flat Rock, where she had taught Sunday school for about 15 years. She also had been a youth counsel- or and on the Official Board of the church. She also was a member of the Women’s Society of Christian Service. She also was a charter member of the Hu Roc Garden Club. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Margaret) Cameron and Mrs. Kenneth (Eleanore) Keeton, both of Flat Rock. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Flat Rock or the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association.
