Tien, Od. 31 49y Kenneth W. Keeton FLAT ROCK — Kenneth W. Keeton, 73, of Flat Rock, a for- mer city councilman who retired in 1978 after 39 years as an elec- trical technician for the Detroit, Toledo and Ironton Railroad, died at 8:45 p.m. Saturday in Seaway Hospital, Trenton. He had been in poor health for 30 years. Friends may call until 9 tonight in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home Inc. He will lie in state Tuesday in the First United Methodist Church from 11 a.m. until services at noon. The Rey. Alan W. DeGraw will officiate and burial will be in Michigan Memo- rial Park. Born Nov. 17, 1920, in Stotts City, Mo., he was the son of Harry A. and Margaret (Marti) Keeton. He was married Aug. 6, 1950, to Eleanore Wagner in the First Unit- ed Methodist Church. He also installed radios for the City of Flat Rock motor vehicles. A World War II Army veteran from March 23, 1943, to Feb. 25, 1946, he also served in the Kore- an Conflict. His memberships included the First United Methodist Church, where he served in all offices where lay members are needed; Flat Rock City Council from 1961 to 1969; served two years on the Huron Clinton Watershed; was union secretary for Local 214; president of Flat Rock Council, ‘Kiwanis, from 1991 to 1992, anda member of the DT&I Railroa Association. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Donald of Romulus and Kenneth D. of Wyandotte; a daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Mary Ann) Depras of Brownstown; a brother, Ralph of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Ellen Edwards of San Antonio, Téxas, and Lora McCoy of Harrisonville, Mo., and eight grandchildren. ; He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
