P22 kore Earl Knight Earl Knight, 70, the long-time Proprietor of a Monroe barber- Shop, died at 2:15 a.m. Saturday at his Monroe home. He had been in poor health for | '/2 years and Seriously ill for two months. Friends may call from 5 to 9 tonight and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the Rupp. Funeral Home, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Otto EF Hood will offici- até. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, : LaSalle. EARL KNIGHT Born Nov. 12, 1925, in Ash Township, he was the son of John and Cora (Zoeger) Knight. He married Mildred E. Brannon on Oct. 9, 1954, in Ango- la, Ind. A barber for 35 years, he was semi-retired, but owned the Earl Knight Barber Shop at 805 Ww. Fifth St. since 1969. A 1943 Airport High School graduate, he was graduated from Detroit Green’s Barber College in 1961. He was a member of Bar- bers’ Local 613 of Monroe and a former member of the Frenchtown Senior Citizens, Surviving are his wife; a son, Douglas H. of Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Bob (Sandra K.) Keck of Newark, Del., and Mrs. David (Debra L.) Armstrong of Lapeer; two brothers, Howard of Monroe and Roy of Newport; and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Alice Knight: and two brothers, George and William. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Monroe or the Ameri- can Cancer Society.
